BLUES BEFORE MONDAY
SUNDAY, 7-10:00 P.M.

PLAYLIST 7/30/00. Hosted by Mark Halverson. Special guest Gary was on hand
after a bit of an absence. The first seven cuts were dedicated to our high
school class (1969) and were inspired by our reunion the preceding evening.
Not only were Gary and I in school together since about fourth grade, as a
result of a bit of imbibing we improvidently volunteered to organize this
class reunion at the last one eleven years ago (which was our twentieth--we
were to do the twenty-fifth). Both of us were rebellious high school
students, so we were out of our realm in this endeavor. Every time we got
together to work on the project, we'd go into something of a catharsis and
just talk about the "good old days" (actually, how screwed up everything was
then). Suffice it to say we were relived to get this over with. Our friends
Ron Arsenault and Dave Pengra played at the gig. Hour three was devoted to
two prominent blues birthdays.
