Blues Festivals
My favorite activity in my Music World is appearing at Blues Festivals. It is very difficult to be chosen to perform at these Festivals. Most Festivals get over 300 artists yearly who are trying to secure a performance spot. I am proud and honored to be chosen yearly to appear at the Top Blues Festivals in the world. I love the fact that all ages can watch me perform.

"Other highlights of Day: One included a special performance by Homesick James and Steve Arvey"
(Excerpt from 1999 Chicago Blues Festival Review:)

I was very honored when the head of the Chicago Blues Festival - Barry Dolins asked me to perform and play Bass with two of the existing fathers of the Blues. Honeyboy Edwards and Homesick James. This show was one of the highlights of my music career and made the 2002 Chicago Blues Festival a very special day for me.
