Steve Arvey and Doug Deming team up again after a very successful Tribute To Little Walter Night at the Palladium Theatre this last November.. All of the Feature Artists will be performing 3 Freddie King Songs backed by Doug Deming and Steve Arvey.. The Blue Lightning band has just released a Tribute To Freddie King CD and will be performing a complete set of Freddie King Songs..

Known as the Texas Cannonball Freddie King has influenced Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughnn and a major List of guitar players and artists.

Freddie King (September 3, 1934 – December 28, 1976), thought to have been born as Frederick Christian, originally recording as Freddy King, and nicknamed “the Texas Cannonball”, was an influential African-American blues guitarist and singer. He is often mentioned as one of “the Three Kings” of electric blues guitar, along with Albert King and B.B. King, as well as the youngest of the three.
